Our grandfather purchased the farm in 1943 in the midst of his service with the US Navy. Upon his honorable discharge, he and his family took on the work of improving the land by renovating the farmhouse, barns, and transitioning the cattle herd from Limosusine to Black Angus.
After serving our nation in the Air Force for 26 years, our family was called home to carry on both the legacy and responsibility of caring for the land and cattle that feed our fellow Americans. While serving overseas in England and Germany, we found the meat and produce to be fresher than our usual grocery markets and watched as local farmers executed natural processes within smaller operations. Influenced by this, we are focused on restoring native grass and regenerative practices to not only improve the health of our soil but also the quality of our cattle.
If you are interested in supporting our family business through our beef sales, we highly encourage a visit to the farm to see how we raise our cattle.
